Imported Lumber / Purchasing and Sales, Lumber Exporting
We import logs and lumber directly from the Russian Far East, North America, Europe, South Sea Islands, China, Vietnam, Chile, and New Zealand. We purchase a wide range of products, both from Japan and overseas, and carry a diverse lineup that allows us to support a range of needs. Recently, we have expatriates in Thailand and Indonesia, and we are now able to respond to the detailed requests of our customers. We are also expanding our interests in overseas commercial lumber.

Plantation timber is used for pallets and
cable drums as well
Radiata pine products from plantation forests are regularly imported and sold from Pan Pac Forest Products (New Zealand), owned by the Oji Group. These products are used, along with larch wood from Hokkaido, to make pallets and cable drums and other items, contributing to distribution in Japan and overseas.
Housing and Construction Materials Sales
Modern housing is seeing an increasing demand for engineering wood (types of processed timber). We carry out research and development, and commercialization, of a range of engineering woods, including laminated softwoods like red and white woods from Northern Europe or red pine from Russia, and laminated woods from planted forests in Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and China.

2x4(Two-by-Four) Lumber Production and Sales
At our Hokkaido (Tomakomai) and Niigata plants, we manufacture and sell high-quality two-by-four housing in conjunction with CAD/CAM. We are responding to the high demand for such housing.
Production and sales of chips for paper and fuel
The effective use of wood resources such as unused timber left on the hillsides, waste timber from sawmills, and recycling demolished house materials is expanding nationwide. These are supplied to paper companies, including those of the Oji Group, as well as to newly established boilers for generating electricity from biomass.
Greening Materials Sales
Soil ruined through natural disasters, damaged by fertilizers and pesticides, or that is too poor for agriculture can be restored to allow plants to grow. To that end, we have been researching wood-based soil improvement materials for more than forty years, handling soil improvement materials both in Japan and overseas, and contributing to greening work, agriculture, and gardening.

Peat moss from Canada
- We have been directly importing Canadian peat moss for twenty years. We visit the production areas annually, ensuring thorough quality management together with the producers. As the wild blueberries growing in the area we gather our product, Main River, demonstrate, this is a product you can use with peace of mind.

- Europeat is noted for its wide lineup. It only uses carefully selected materials, so customers can use it with peace of mind.
Oji Coco Series
- The high processing technology and assured quality of coconut palms from Sri Lanka allowed us to start imports and sales in the 1990s. We import products from specific plants with limited production areas, providing coconut palm products that our customers can use with peace of mind.
Other agricultural materials
- We also handle all types of potting soils, water absorption promoter, lightweight inorganic materials (for potting soil stabilization), liquid organic fertilizer, seaweed powder, organic phosphate fertilizer, and so on.
